iPRIVACY number for BLACKlist service is easy to setup:
Step 1. First, you fill out our iPRIVACY BLACKlist service request form.
Please allow 1-2 business days to receive your iPRIVACY number. It may take longer if you decide to order a VoIP Phone adapter.
In the meantime, please familiarize yourself with the following:
(1) Choose what you are going to use to answer your iPRIVACY calls. There are 2 options:
1. You can answer calls using any analog handset, including DEC phones. You will need a SIP-compatible VoIP Phone adapter in order to use your call blocker.
2. You can also answer your calls using a smartphone, tablet or PC. Simply download one of several free apps available for your device. For Apple devices (iPhones or iPads), use Apple’s App Store. For Android devices, use Google Play to free download for Apple-IOS or Droid).
If you have a smartphone or tablet, and you wish to use the free APP to answer your iPRIVACY number, you may want to download and install it on your device.
(2) You may also want to find out the details on how to turn ON the Call Forwarding service on your existing phone. Please contact your existing service provider for details.
Step 2. Upon receiving your iPRIVACY number, and you already decided where you want to answer your calls, its time to test it to make sure it's working properly.
Step 3. Next, activate the “Call Forward” on your phone number. At this time, all your incoming calls will be filtered, and you start answering all incoming calls on your iPRIVACY number. Please test it to make sure it's working.
Step 4. Please remember to install the call blocker (if desired) to add a third layer of protection. This is only possible if you are using a VoIP Phone Adapter.
We strongly recommend that you do not give out your iPRIVACY number to anyone. Please continue using your existing phone number(s) as your main contact phone number. This is the best way to protect your privacy!
Enjoy your Privacy!
